Arthur
Founder & Director, Upper Room Arts

Arthur has been a driving force in Christian performing arts since 2001, dedicated to bridging the gap between professional excellence and deep-rooted faith. His journey took a pivotal turn during his final year of theatre school; despite securing a prestigious role with one of Canada’s most prominent theatre companies, a radical encounter with God redirected his heart toward a higher calling.
Throughout a career spanning dozens of faith-based projects, Arthur has served as an actor, singer/musician, producer, director, and writer. His ministry extends far beyond the stage: he has served as a youth worker (YFC), pastor, and arts evangelist in prisons, hospitals, and homeless shelters. Arthur has also led numerous short-term mission trips, partnering with organizations like AVC/Nehemiah (Germany) to present the Gospel through music and theatre. In his current role as an Arts Pastor, he produced several large-scale, faith-based musicals (seen by 25,000 people annually) and numerous other productions, solidifying his conviction that a single theatrical encounter can create a lasting bridge to the Gospel.
Arthur recently launched UPPER ROOM ARTS, to equip the next generation of Christian artists to become a prophetic voice across Canada and beyond. He finds his greatest joy in connecting his love for the Creator with the craft of storytelling. Arthur lives in Mississauga with his wife, Ester, and their four sons, and can often be found on the open road on his motorcycle.
